 Administration of ST. Petersburg has offered to allow visa-free residence in St. Petersburg for the foreigners arrived in the international airport of Pulkovo. This measure is to be considered as one towards visa abolition between Russia and EU countries.
Visa-free residence like this was earlier introduced for the cruise travellers from EU, coming to St. Petersburg by cruise liners and ferry-boats. If the project of visa-free arrival through Pulkovo is accepted, it could be applied in other regions and cities of Russia.
