Some days ago archeologists made a gorgeous find near the town of Staritsa, the Tver Region. “Near the inflow of Kholokholnya River to Volga an expedition of Tver archeologists discovered remains of a splendid palace-and-park ensemble dating back to the reign of Empress Elizabeth of Russia (aka Elizaveta Petrovna)” - Alexey Salimov -the head of the expedition and professor of the Tver branch of the State Slavic Culture Academy- reported .
